Jamie Py came to MEMA as Legal Counsel in 1995, and is a 1994 J.D. graduate of the Franklin Pierce Law Center; holds an MBA from Drexel; and is a member of the Maine Bar. In one of his former lives, Jamie worked as the Facility Manager for an oil company in New Hampshire. In 2002, Jamie was named the President of MEMA.
Hannah joined the MEMA team in early 2011 and brings tremendous value to the association staff. Hannah has a broad background in senior level accounting and most recently served as an accounting manager for a well respected company in Portland. Hannah handles everything from accounts receivable and payable to budgetary work, administering MTEC registrations, and managing our association management software.
Staci BestDirector of Marketing and Events
New to the MEMA family in December of 2012 as the coordinator of Marketing and Events, Staci will work to develop and produce innovative marketing campaigns in an effort to bolster enrollment at MTEC, while also managing MEMA's schedule of annual events and conferences. Additionally, she will maintain content on the MEMA and MTEC websites and social media outlets, negotiate and secure sponsorship opportunities, and manage our many volunteer committees. A native Mainer with a background in public relations, design, and history, Staci has a unique skill set that allows her to find creative solutions to standard problems. While here, she hopes to increase awareness of the many opportunities and resources MEMA has to offer the industry, and is excited to work closely alongside our various members and committees.
MEMA's Receptionist/Adminstrative Assistant
Brenda joined the MEMA team in 2001 coming to us from a health care environment. She is MEMA’s receptionist and administrative assistant. Brenda cheerfully greets and assists all who enter our organization. She answers the phone and manages a handful of other important duties. Quite frankly she is the key to what keeps this operation running smoothly.
MTEC Full Time Instructor
Bryan comes to MEMA with a wide expanse of knowledge and experience in our industry. A Master level technician Bryan is going to be instructing a variety of classes including the Energy Conservation Technician Basic Training course, Hands-On Propane, and Basic A/C with EPA Certification.
MEMA's Insurance Administrator
Robin joined MEMA in 1997 after having worked as the worker’s compensation underwriter for a Third Party Administrator. As a licensed insurance agent, Robin has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years. Robin handles all accounting aspects for MEMA’s Health and Workers Compensation Trusts as well as working very closely with the Trustees of each program. She is your contact for any issues involving the MEMA insurance programs.
MEMA's Director of Recruitment & Retention
Will joined the Maine Energy Marketers Association team in 2012 as the Director of Recruitment & Retention. Will's main focus will involve travelling the state visiting members to ensure they are receiving the support they need in addition to meeting and recruiting new members. Will brings a strong operations and sales background to the association and hopes to keep all types of membership growing.
Will has a degree from the University of Maine at Farmington in Business & Economics.
